Amazing Health Benefits of Berries

Just as good, though, is research showing that berries deliver a pack of benefits, including better cognitive health, helping prevent cancer, and lower blood pressure.

The very appearance of berries should give you some clues that nature’s candy is good for you. “Vibrant, brightly colored fruits and vegetables provide some of the highest levels of nutrients, especially antioxidants. These antioxidants have anti-inflammatory properties, which may help protect your body from disease as you age.

How healthy is Almond Milk

Almond milk is rich in vitamin E, which is an important antioxidant. Vitamin E can help lower your risk of serious health conditions like stroke, heart disease, and even cancer. Depending on the brand, enriched almond milk can also be an excellent source of Phosphorus.

Greek yogurt is better than dairy or non-dairy yogurt

Greek yogurt might be better than regular yogurt if weight loss is your goal. Why? It helps you stay fuller for longer due to its high protein content. What makes Greek yogurt different from regular yogurt is that it’s thicker and creamier due to the extensive straining process.

Health Benefits of Bananas

Powerful potassium:  A medium banana gives you 422 milligrams, which is 9% of what you need every day. This mineral is a big player in heart health. Potassium-rich foods help manage your blood pressure because they help you get rid of more sodium when you pee. Potassium also relaxes the walls of your blood vessels, which helps lower your BP.

Chia Seeds

Our favorite way to give this banana-berry smoothie with almond milk the beneficial fats, protein, and fiber it needs before or after rigorous exercises, runs, and other activities are to include chia seeds. Chia seeds contain Omega-3s, a potent compound that provides the body with the fatty acids needed for repair and renewal.
