Prey for the Devil | in Theaters on Halloween| 28 October, 2022

Prey for the Devil is another Horror Movie on Exorcism slated to be in Theaters on  `Halloween’ 28, October onwards in India, USA & UK under the Title “The Devil’s Light” by Lionsgate Films.

Lionsgate is an American film production and film distribution studio.

In France (Velna Upuris) the date is 26 October and In Brazil, it’s 27 October.

Synopsis:

It is an American horror movie about a nun who encounters a demonic force while learning how to perform exorcisms.

In response to the increasing possession of evil spirits around the world, the Catholic Church is reopening exorcism schools to train priests in exorcism rituals.

 

Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers), a member of the Catholic Church, a young nun, joins the effort to stop the rising rate of demonic afflictions.

Her powers to combat demons are recognised after she joins a school to train future priests in exorcisms, and despite the fact that it is against the law for nuns to perform exorcisms, she is given the authority to do so.

 

Sister Ann emerges as an unusual warrior on this spiritual battlefield. She, along with her fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), is forced into a spiritual war to save a little girl’s soul.

Soon she finds out that the young girl appears to be controlled by the same demon who killed her own mother and that she too is in danger and that the devil also desires to possess her.

The Movie also explores Ann and her Mother’s past emotional trauma providing another dimension of suspense. In the trailer Sister Ann reveals that her mother struggled with depression, but that even then Ann suspected it was something more threatening at work.

Direction and Story:

This horror film is Directed by Daniel Stamm, famous for his earlier films like – Into the Dark: Down; 13 Sins; The Last Exorcism; A Necessary Deat and many more to his credit.
