  • Whole wheat pita bread, sliced into triangles

In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper.

Step 2:

Blend the mixture until it is smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add water 1 tablespoon at a time until desired consistency is reached.

Step 3:

Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Step 4:

Spread the hummus onto the pita bread triangles.

Step 5:

Top with sliced veggies of your choice.
